With 9 days left for Coolie's worldwide release in theaters on August 14, 2025, promotions are in full swing for the Rajinikanth starrer produced by Sun Pictures. While in its home turf, Coolie had a massive audio and trailer launch event that is set to air on Sun TV this August 10 at 6: 30 PM IST, Coolie has also created buzz outside its Tamil territory with its promotional activities. 

1. Malaysia

Hamsini Entertainment is the overseas distributor of Coolie, and Mallik Streams Corporation is presenting Coolie in Malaysia. To mark Coolie promotions in Malaysia, a hot air balloon featuring Rajinikanth's Coolie images was launched in a fan-fare event, adding to the excitement surrounding the film's release.

The Coolie hot air balloon was launched on August 4, 2025 at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.

2. Mumbai, India

Pen Marudhar, a well-known distribution company is presenting Coolie in North India. To mark Coolie promotions in Mumbai, a local train was converted into a 'Coolie' train with the film's characters—'Deva' Rajinikanth, 'Dahaa' Aamir Khan, 'Simon' Nagarjuna, 'Preethi' Shruthi Haasan, 'Kaleesha' Upendra adorning the electric train's outsides.

Coolie releases in Hindi under the title Coolie The Powerhouse, and meets Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, Kiara Advani starrer War 2 at the Independence day box-office. 

3. Telugu States, India

Asian Multiplexes Private Limited is presenting Coolie in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. A pre-release event cum press meet was held in the presence of actors Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Shruthi Haasan, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, film's writer-director Lokesh Kanagaraj on August 4, 2025, and streamed live. 

Telugu versions of Coolie songs were screened at this event, along with a special video message from Superstar Rajinikanth, who spoke in Telugu especially to appeal to the Telugu audience.
